Collection: Grass Fed and Finished Lamb

Our sheep are the core of our whole agricultural program at Evermeadow.  Their job is the most important of all - keep the grassland in grass!  Through careful management, including daily or sometimes twice daily moves to fresh pasture, we are able to use our sheep to not only keep our grass from succeeding to woody brushland, but also to improve and restore our pastures.  The lamb meat that comes out of our grazing system is really a cut above the rest, as our lambs are grass finished (never any grain ever) Kathadins, a breed renowned for their deliciously mild flavour.  Evermeadow lamb is the true fruit of the land, perhaps the most ecologically sustainable (and yummy) product of these Northumberland Hills.
