Mutual Aid Contribution– Help Care for Our Community

At Evermeadow, we believe in the power of community.  With the threat of tariffs, political and economic uncertainty, climate upheaval, and the addiction, cost of living, and housing crises  (poly-crisis!) community care is more important than ever. 

Your Mutual Aid Contribution will be added to our monthly delivery of Evermeadow products to Northumberland food banks, helping ensure families experiencing food insecurity have access to healthy, delicious local meats. Choose any amount you’d like—every dollar helps provide real food to real people.  

Details:

Select the number of dollars you would like to contribute.  It can be anywhere from $1 on up.  

At the end of each month, we take the total amount of Mutual Aid contributions received, and, in consultation with local food banks, select the Evermeadow products that would be most helpful at the food bank that month.   Once the products are chosen, we deliver our product straight to the food bank.  With almost no overhead or administrative costs, this is a DIRECT way to benefit our local community.  

Because we don't have to market the products delivered through this program, we are able to offer them at below wholesale cost - providing a savings directly to those who need it most.  

For example, $30 normally buys a large pasture raised chicken. The same bird through the mutual aid program will be delivered to the food bank with just $17 in donations - covering our cost of production, and nothing more.
