Approximately 35lbs of premium pastured pork - a selection of cuts and roasts from all primal sections of the pig. The 1/4 pork package includes free delivery to anywhere in Toronto or points west to Northumberland County. When you order this package we will contact you to determine your optimal package composition. A typical package might look like this: · 6 lbs sausage (Honey Garlic, Oktoberfest, Breakfast, or Italian) · 1x 3 lbs picnic shoulder roast. · 3 lbs boston shoulder chops. · 5 lbs bacon. · 2 lb spare ribs (included by default). · 2 lbs smoked hocks. (included by default). · 4 lbs loin chops. · 3x 2 lbs ham roasts. · 4 lbs ham steaks. · 1x Pork liver.
A premium eating experience, our pork comes from heritage and rare breed pigs (Berkshire, Tamworth, Hereford) raised with the highest standards of animal welfare and ecological land management. Our pigs roam the pastures foraging for roots and grazing forbs and grasses, free to express their instincts to run, root, and play. We manage their impact on the land as part of our multi-species rotational grazing system. Their presence in this systems helps revitalize the degraded old-field landscapes we are working with here at Evermeadow Farm.
